Experimentation
"Today we will use this old sock as a brush - it is perfect!". Experimantation is like a playful kid compared to the other methods - a bit messy and you never know what to expect from it, but it can give you great things. You get all messy but it is fun and insightful. It can be:
*drawing, crafting and creating art with different techniques and tools
*exploring possibilities and options while constantly developing your subject of research

*trying things for yourself - acting them out, singing
*interacting with others and seeing their reaction (social experiments)
Open your mind for new possibilites and get you hands involved.

Dont't worry about end result, just make, make , make and then gather your creations and see what works.

Stand up act out your character. Come on don't be shy.

Create versions and versions until you finally reach what you wanted.

Don't get stuck on one piece for too long.
When you need refference.

When you are stuck on the same idea.

When you need to explore more options.

When you need to clear your mind.

Ah experimentation! Don't know why, but Victor's face always pops up when I hear this word and all the ink blobs which are supposed to be elephants or dancing pigs.

For this project I experimented more with the colours of my character. At first I had this idea in my head about how I want her to look and in my head it looked right, but then when I tried it it was a total mess.

So I needed to try more and more colours until I reach a final design and it took a while but it was worth it.

I also found quite fun the experiment with different materials we did in class. It was really insightful of how people see your character and how they can improve on it.
